March Video game tournament for teens – Sign Up Now, FREE

The Teen Division of the Napa City-County Library will be hosting a video game tournament in the teen room of the Napa Main Library in downtown Napa every Friday in March from 4-5 p.m.

There will be four qualifying tournaments on the first four Fridays in March. Each tournament will focus on a different video game, and each will award the ultimate winner with the prize of a $10 gift certificate to a local business.

On the fifth and final Friday of March, the four qualifying tournament winners will face off to determine who will win the grand prize, a $60 gift certificate to a local business.
All local teens (in grades 6-12 or between the ages 12-18) are invited to sign up and participate in the tournament. Each tournament will be capped at 16, with 4 alternates and drop-in competitors allowed to take the spot of no-shows or teens disqualified due to ineligibility.  Teens interested in signing up for the tournament can do so at the Napa Main Library reference desk or by calling (707)-259-8394. Teens can sign up for all four qualifying tournaments but are only eligible to win one. The list of games is available upon request.
This event ties into Teen Tech Week (March 4-10) which invites teens to explore and use technology available at libraries. The Napa Main Library is located at 580 Coombs St. in  Downtown Napa.
