What you will learn:
. Safe and more efficient techniques for bathing, dressing, transfers and mobility (Hands on practice time included) .
Techniques and suggestions for making your home a safer place and reducing the risk for falls . Equipment options for safe and more independent caregiving . Problem Solving: An Occupational and Physical Therapist will present the program and will be available for questions.
What you will receive:
. Hands-On Caregiving Manual
. Certification of Participation
. Light meal will be provided (donation of $10 for food gratefully accepted)
